Ryujin Industries’ questline in Starfield explained

Joining Ryujin Industries

It is pretty easy to join this faction as there are Ryujin recruitment kiosks that can be found in many of the major cities. You can find one on New Atlantis, and if you walk past the kiosks, it will trigger the Back To The Grind quest, the first faction mission of Ryujin Industries.

Your main objective is to apply for a job at the Kiosk, then go for the interview at the Ryujin Headquarters located in Neon City on planet Volii Alpha in the Volii System. Once you complete the interview, you will meet and talk to many different characters and even use your persuasion skills. After you finish this quest, you will become an official part of Ryujin Industries.

Important tips to remember for Ryujin Industries’ questline

  • As the headquarters of this faction is located in Neon and many of the quest missions will also involve you snooping around this cyberpunk city, you should choose the Neon Street Rat trait. Having this trait unlocks special dialogue choices and can even skip certain quests and learn more new information.
  • Have a Stealth-based playstyle and don’t bring your companions with you during stealth sections, especially during the quest Background Checks. Use your skill points to increase your Stealth skills.
  • Become better at persuasion. You will be persuading a lot of people, so try to deeply understand the persuasion mini-game and master it.
  • Your attire matters. From Neon City, you can buy suits that provide a great buff to your Persuasion skills.
