But on a larger scale, it will end the UC Faction questline quicker compared to when you keep this secret from her.

Thus, you should refrain from giving her this information. At least until the final mission, as you get this option again to reveal the status of her father. This is a great way to stay on the morally righteous side of this quest. But, also enjoy all the content packed into this faction questline without missing out much.

However, if you don’t ever tell her about this information, you will get some extra side missions. Such as those that will come after the main UC faction questline ends. Keep in mind that your choices won’t affect the rewards you get.
