Docking in Starfield Explained
Dock your spaceship by hail your target, reaching it and selecting the option. Just follow the steps below:
- First hail your target by pressing the E key or the A button.
- Reach within 500m of your target.
- An option for docking will pop up.
- Now hold down the X button or the R key.
Once you do this, you will have docked your ship. Then, you can get out of your captain’s seat, and walk to your ship’s airlock. From there you can get into the space station. At first, getting within 500m of your target might be difficult, but the more you do it, the more you will get used to it.
Keep in mind that you cannot fast-travel while your ship is docked. So, you will first have to undock your vehicle from the other vessel by pressing the Y button or the space bar.
