Turn your Sim into an amazing tactician and keep their Fitness level up to mark with this career path. This is one of the most fun careers out there in the game, so choosing it over the other career options is not that bad of a decision.
In any case, read on and find out all you need to know in our tailor-made The Sims 4 Military career guide.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Military career in The Sims 4
This career option comes with the Strangeville expansion pack for the Sims 4, so be sure to add this pack to your game. Once you do this, go to the career panel menu and just choose the Military Career for your Sim. Training your Sim’s Fitness skill is a must for this career and increasing your Logic and Charisma skills is also pretty important, especially later on.
When it comes to traits, be sure to choose the Active, Genius, and Outgoing traits as all of these three traits together will help you quickly increase the levels of the previously mentioned skills. You can also have aspirations like Friend to the World, Body Builder, and Nerd Brain. You have the option of working from home in this career, which you can choose if you want to save time for other activities for your Sim.
From Levels 1-5, your Sim will mainly have to keep their Fitness level up, except for Levels 4 and 5 wherein your Sim will have to go for a jog and spar with other military Sims. Thus, having workout equipment at home will be very advantageous.
Furthermore, as you make progress in this career you unlock the Order Around menu, through which you can order other Military Sims to spar with each other. Completing level 5 will unlock two separate specifications that your Sim can choose between, Covert Operator and Officer.
The Cover Operator Branch
Keep in mind, this is a late-night job, so you have to fix your Sim’s schedule according to this requirement. Other than this, for your daily tasks your Sim will have to play and practice chess, monitor other Sims, and search the stars with the help of a telescope. Your Sim will also need to plant bugs, which may somehow relate to the Strangeville mystery.
The main skill that your Sim has to train during this branch is Logic, so make sure to max it out for effective performance.
The Officer Branch
This branch requires more interaction with other Sims, as an Officer’s daily tasks will be to order other Sims around, recruit Sims, practice giving orders, share war stories, and even train combat with other Sims. Having higher levels of Charisma is really important for progressing through this branch.
