As you progress through the game, you will come across different characters and recruit them to join your party. In addition to the main quests, there are also side quests that you can undertake to obtain valuable loot. One such optional mission is The Gambling Man.

Let’s find out how to complete the quest of Octopath Traveler 2 gambling husband!

How to beat the gambling husband quest in Octopath Traveler 2

In this quest, you will encounter a woman who is worried about her gambling-obsessed husband. She will ask for your help in getting him to stop. After speaking with her, you will witness a cutscene in which the wife pleads with her husband to quit gambling. However, he refuses, leaving her feeling helpless.

This is where your role in the quest begins. You will need to head north and make your way to the gambling hall. Once there, you will need to locate the Dealer in the northern room. By using the character Osvald to Scrutinize this NPC, you will gather information that reveals the Dealer is cheating. It turns out that the gambling hall lures in players with big wins, only to cheat them later and put them in debt. Thus, you have unlocked the Truth of the Game Parlor.

With this new information, you can return to the wife and inform her of the cheating. She will then tell her husband that winning is impossible, which will cause him to agree to quit gambling. Completing this quest will earn you a Victory Ring and an Energizing Pomegranate.
