You sit on this seat to fast travel around the world of Like a Dragon Ishin. Palanquins are marked on your map, so all you need to do is simply approach the two men holding the palanquin and interact with them. Then, your map will automatically come up and you’ll be asked where you want the palanquin to take you.

Simply select from the list of locations and press X/A. After a short loading screen, you’ll arrive at your destination. Using the palanquin will cost you a small nominal fee, but it isn’t very much.
