Lethal Company Signal Translator - signal translator item on the ground.

Lethal Company Signal Translator – how to use

The Signal Translator is a new ship upgrade in Lethal Company. Let’s see how it works and the best way to use it. Overall, it’s another communication tool but with a more unique effect. It allows you to contact every player on your team. However, they can’t answer, and the transmission process is fairly slow. Nevertheless, it’s a valuable item, and there’s merit to buying it. Here’s everything you need to know about this new addition.

Lethal Company Signal Translator - how to transmit a message via the console.

Signal Translator explained – how to get it

The Signal Translator is a ship upgrade in Lethal Company that allows you to send a message to every player in your lobby. You can buy it at the store for 255 credits. This item will send the message to all players in the lobby, regardless of their location and whether they have a Walkie Talkie or not.

This item is a small radio that can be placed anywhere on the ship. It doesn’t matter where you place it since you’ll only be able to interact with it from the Terminal.

How to use the Signal Translator in Lethal Company

To use the Signal Translator, access the Terminal and type “transmit message”. Replace “message” with whatever you want to transmit, and all players will receive that message. However, transmission takes 5-10 seconds, so messages like “run away” or “don’t go there” will probably arrive too late to be helpful. Also, it’s a one-way communication. You can use it to contact all other players, but they can’t contact you unless you both have a Walkie Talkie.

Nevertheless, the translator can help notify teammates of in-game time, enemies around the ship, how many players are still alive, and potential doors and turrets you’re activating from the Terminal. Thus, if used properly, the Signal Translator is a great tool, and I highly recommend using it.

To summarize, the Signal Translator in Lethal Company transmits a message from the ship to all other players. It’s a great tool to notify your team of threats and potential loot without investing in walkie-talkies for everyone. Its drawbacks are that only the player on the ship can use it, the others can’t respond, and the message takes 5-10 seconds to transmit.
