Lethal Company disable turrets - turret shooting at the player.

Lethal Company disable turrets – how to do it

Are you trying to disable turrets in Lethal Company but can’t figure out how? Let’s see how to temporarily turn them off. Turrets can be pretty annoying as you’re roaming through the hallways since they block certain paths. Additionally, if you go in front of them for just a second, you’ll die. While sometimes you can run around them, it’s not always possible and most times it isn’t really safe. Thankfully, there is another alternative to deal with turrets as you can disable them. Let’s see how.

Lethal Company disable turrets - type 'view monitor' at the Terminal to see the map and turn off sentry turrets.

How to disable turrets in Lethal Company

To disable turrets in Lethal Company, interact with the Terminal, type ‘view monitor’, check the map to see the turret’s letter and number, and type that in the Terminal.

Once you click ‘view monitor’, you’ll be able to see a map of the inside area on the Terminal Screen. If it’s blank, type ‘view monitor’ again. On that map, you’ll see various letters and numbers, such as b3, r2, d5, and more. These symbolize locked doors and turrets.

If you then type the letter and number of a turret, it will disable it for five seconds. If the number you typed belonged to a door, it will permanently open that door (until you manually close it again).

Since turrets are only disabled temporarily, you need to have a walkie-talkie and communicate with your team. The exact second you turn it off, your teammates must pass through as quickly as possible. If the turret activates and locks on to them, you won’t be able to disable it. Also, there’s no point in disabling turrets if you’re playing solo since they will turn on by the time you get there again.

To summarize, you can disable turrets in Lethal Company by selecting ‘view monitor’ on the Terminal and then typing the letter and number of the turret you want to turn off. However, this will disable it only temporarily, which means your teammates must move fast. If it activates while they’re in its line of sight, they will die and you won’t be able to do anything from the Terminal. Also, you can use the same method from the Terminal to unlock the thick metal doors found around the map.
