Chained Echoes SP points explained

SP stands for skill points and reflects your character’s progress towards their next level in Chained Echoes. In most other RPG games, you will gain experience in specific skills that have been used to level up equipped abilities. In Chained Echoes, SP is gained by your character as they engage in combat and use their equipped skills.

You can then spend this SP on levelling up any skills you have, whether you’ve used them or not. So, for example, if a skill needs 50 SP to level up, then you will need to spend 50 SP to level up that skill all at once. You cannot invest incremental points into a skill; it needs all of the required SP points spent at once to level up. You can hold a total of 999 SP and no more.

You can build SP quickly by fighting higher-level enemies and taking on side quests, so make sure to spend some time doing these missions and not just focusing on the main quest.

That’s everything we know about spending skill points in the JRPG Chained Echoes. If you want more tips and tricks, head on over to our full walkthrough, which has all of our latest guides, like how to unlock sky armor and more.
