When you meet with Black Cat in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall area and refuse to give him a Gold Coin Fruit, you will trigger a boss battle with him. The battle is going to be easy, so don’t stress out; just keep in mind the following things to gain an upper hand:

• The weapon that Black Cat will use is a spear, so keep your distance and constantly dodge his attack.
• He will constantly rush at you the moment you try to gain some distance. You can use this to your advantage; just dodge his spear and counterattack.
• You can use any weapon that you are good at using. However, using a weapon that causes heavy damage or deals fire damage will be really helpful.
• Fire damage will especially deplete his health, and you don’t even have to do anything.
• Don’t worry about having low speed; as long as you dodge correctly, he will never be able to hit you. Moreover, you can easily survive his attacks and replenish your health with potions.
• The second you find an opening, keep attacking him and lower his health as much as you can.
