How to solve the Chalice of Inverted Verses in Blasphemous

To solve the Chalice of Inverted Verses, one must vanquish the enemies present within the chamber. However, the quest must be initiated beforehand. To embark on this thrilling journey, the key lies in discovering the room adorned with captivating illustrations of three formidable adversaries.

You can access this room by using the Nail Uprooted from Dirt and Three Gnarled Tongues. Alternatively, it is possible to reach the room by equipping the linen with golden thread and descending into the pit from above, followed by skillfully launching projectiles to reach the ledge. It is worth noting that this alternative method may require the use of level 2 projectiles.

Upon discovering the Chalice of the Inverted Verses, a quest will begin. Completion of this quest will unlock the room containing the seventh and final upgrade for the sacred Mea Culpa. The quest entails slaying one of each of the creatures depicted in the room. Whenever you successfully defeat an enemy, a message will pop up saying “Chalice of Inverted Verses has been partially filled”, indicating that you have made some progress.

Upon successfully eliminating all three creatures, a notification pops up indicating that the Chalice is now full. At this point, the player must return to the Chalice room and reinstate the Chalice in the statue that awaits.

It is important to note that during the quest for the Chalice, you must exercise caution. If the player dies, uses a Gate of Travel, or teleports through the Prie Dieu upgrade, the Chalice will become empty. This means you have to defeat all three enemies again.
