How to find the Zhentarim Hideout in Baldur’s Gate 3
To embark on your quest to find the Zhentarim Hideout, you must first make your way to the city of Baldur’s Gate. Once in the city, head towards the northwestern part of the map, specifically to an area known as Waukeen’s Rest. This area is where you will find the entrance to the hideout.
Clearing the Path to the Hideout
Upon arriving at Waukeen’s Rest, you will come across a seemingly ordinary small house near the cliffside’s edge. However, the entrance to the Zhentarim Hideout is cleverly disguised within this house. Unfortunately, the entrance is initially blocked by a pile of debris and rubble.
To proceed, you must interact with the objects surrounding the house and remove them one by one. Look for crates, barrels, and other items that can be pushed aside or destroyed to create a clear path to the entrance. Be thorough in your search, as the debris may be scattered around the area.
Dealing with Salazon
After clearing enough space and entering the building, you will encounter Salazon. He stands as the gatekeeper to the Zhentarim Hideout and will require the correct password for entry. If you have previously assisted Rugan with his Gnolls problem, he will have given you the password. Presenting the password to Salazon will grant you access to the hideout.

Entering the Zhentarim Hideout
After successfully passing Salazon, you will descend a ladder into a small basement. In this basement, you will find a brown wardrobe nestled in the corner. Upon approaching the wardrobe, a hidden passageway will be revealed, leading you to the heart of the Zhentarim Hideout.
As you enter the hideout, take note of the fast-travel station near the entrance. This station will allow you to conveniently navigate between different areas within the hideout. However, before proceeding further, you must first encounter the gang leader and gain her trust.
