Here’s what you need to know about being a Gardener in The Sims 4
You can start this career option by first adding the Seasons expansion pack to your game. Once you do this, then you can go to the career panel menu and select the Gardener career option. Having Lot traits such as Homely and Great soil is going to be very useful when it comes to leveling up your Sim’s gardening skills.

From Levels 1-4, your daily tasks will involve just increasing your Gardening skills to Level 5 and Harvesting Harvestables. You will need to do other various activities like getting starter seeds from your computer, planting them and researching about the plants, and many more. Once you complete level 4, this career will divide into two branches, Botanist and Florist.
Choosing the Botanist Branch
In this branch, you will work on more of the scientific and research side of gardening, thus, you will have to increase your Logic and Writing skills. The daily tasks will be the same as before, you will have to Harvest Harvestables. The ideal mood is to stay Energized.
Choosing the Florist Branch
The ideal mood for this branch is Inspired and your Sim also needs to train their Floral arrangement skills. This is more of the creative side of gardening as your Sim will be designing beautiful floral arrangements.
