How to get the rope gun and use the zipline in Sons of the Forest 

The rope gun has two main uses: creating ziplines that reach different elevations and riding those ziplines. To obtain the rope gun, the first thing you will need to do is find the rope gun cave. It is west of the snowy mountains on a path next to a lake. You’ll need to enter the cave and continue forward until you reach a large room. Beware of many cave cannibals in this room, so be ready to fight. 

Stay to the left of the cave which has a path there. You will come across a mutant who blocks a passageway. To enter, pick up the time bomb on the floor to the right of the blocked passage and throw it at the mutant. 

At the first fork in the road, take the right one. Continue until you reach another fork in the road, where you need to pick right again. At the cliff here, you’ll find the rope gun in a briefcase. Once you have picked up the rope gun, you will be able to use it on the zipline to exit the cave.

To create a zipline, equip the rope gun and shoot it to a point on the environment. After placing the first end of the zipline, shoot the rope gun again to place the other end. You will need zipline rope, which can be created by combining one rope and one printed grappling hook. To ride the zipline, interact with it by holding the “E” key.
