Sims 4 packs leak ahead of DLC’s release date

The Sims 4 may be an older title, but the ladder-deleting Sims community just can’t get enough of the game. To satiate the community’s appetite, it seems that a Sims 4 pack leak showing the new DLC packs has inadvertently hit the internet.

Giving us an idea of what to expect in the new DLC, an EA patch note blog post contains the description “A prep for Pastel and Clutter” at the very top of the post. This clearly alludes to the names of the new DLC packs and highlights the latest update as preparing for the expansions’ impending release date.

We do, however, have further information on what the DLC will bring to the game via some leaked screenshots and information. According to the Sims Community website, the Everyday Clutter Kit will allow players to add knick-knacks around their homes that pertain to their sims’ lives to add an extra layer of authenticity to their game. These items will include cell phone cases, books and games, and other items like jewellery boxes that add a personal sim-ish touch.

The Pastel Pop Kit looks set to add all kinds of bright pastel-coloured items to decorate your house with. This includes chairs shaped like hearts, mirrors shaped like puddles, as well as 60s and 70s-inspired bedsheets and tables in bright pastel colours to give that, excuse us, pop.

In-depth information on the items in the leaked content can be seen in a tweet from ‘SimMattically‘, who is a Sims content creator.

The release date for these new Sims 4 kits is still unknown and all we have to go on, for now, is the Sims 4 packs leak information, and we don’t know the full details of what the DLC will bring outside of these leaks, but one thing is for sure – sign us up for more Sims 4 goodness when they do arrive. Will it be before Christmas, we wonder?
