You’ll need to find three hidden event bosses in Risk of Rain Returns if you want to unlock one of the characters. Here’s how to find them and unlock the Enforcer. Unlocking new characters is far from easy, especially when it has such unclear requirements. Additionally, The Hunt achievement will require you to kill three unique event bosses in one run as The Huntress. Let’s see how to find these bosses and get the Enforcer and the Hunt achievement.
Risk of Rain Returns hidden event bosses – Enforcer & The Hunt achievement
While boss the Enforcer and the Hunt achievement require three unique bosses, they don’t have to be the same. For the Enforcer, they don’t even have to be on the same run.
The three hidden event bosses you must kill to unlock the Enforcer in RoRR are the Magma Worm, the Wandering Vagrant, and the Colossus. All three have a chance to appear during the first stage when the teleporter event is active. Since you don’t have to kill them all on the same run, keep repeating this stage until you get it.
For the Hunt achievement, things are a bit more tricky. To find three hidden event bosses in Risk of Rain Returns and get The Hunt achievement, you must defeat Acrid in Deeps, Direseeker in Magma, and Providence and his Gilded Worms. While the last one isn’t technically a hidden boss, its worms count and will award you the achievement. Just make sure you’re playing as Huntress and you’ve killed all three bosses in the same run.
Alternatively, for the Hunt achievement, you can also replace Providence with a no-name golem boss in Desolate Forest #4. It’s the golem that drops the Cognation Artifact. To find this foe, head to the area shown below and go down the vine.
To wrap this up, the three Risk of Rain Returns hidden event bosses that you must beat to get ‘The Hunt’ achievement include Acrid, Magma, and Providence. You can replace the last one with the unnamed golem in Providence Forest. Just make sure to kill them all in one run while playing the Huntress. If you just want to unlock the Enforcer, beat the Magma Worm, the Wandering Vagrant, and the Colossus. This doesn’t have to be done on the same run.
