Heists are a lot of fun, aren’t they? I mean, not if you’re caught in the crossfire of someone doing one and you die, sure, but virtually they are great fun. You get to hang out with your buddies, commit crimes and score a huge load of moolah and bonus items. Finally, we’ll be able to go back to heists so let us take a look and discover Payday 3 release date and gameplay trailer.
The series initially began in 2011 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, then a sequel saw the light in 2013 and, finally, ten years after the latest entry in the series, Starbreeze Software is telling us it is time to go back.
So let’s take a look at what we can see in Payday 3 gameplay trailer and its release date as well.
Payday 3 release date
Payday 3 is launching on September 21, 2023. This was confirmed during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2023.
We also got to see a new gameplay trailer that shows how the heist game is going to play. There are similarities to Payday 2, so it will be interesting to see how close in gameplay the two games actually are when the third entry releases later this year.
Payday 3 gameplay trailer
Below is the gameplay trailer for Payday 3. Unfortunately, this is just a small teaser trailer and not much can be seen. But we can see a city that definitely looks like New York (as was previously announced) during New Year’s Eve, so Payday 3 will take place around the holidays as a straight follow-up after the second title. We also know the plot will revolve around such topics as cryptocurrency, software giants, mass surveillance and even the dark web.
For now, that is all that the developers allowed as a sneak peek at the new chapter of Payday, but you can be sure that we will update this guide as more information will become available. In the meantime, while you wait to go back to crime, why not take a stroll into Vampire Survivors or take a trip to the stars with Starfield?
