Sims 4 – how to make objects bigger

The first thing you need to do is to enter Build Mode by clicking on the upper-right wrench & hammer icon. Once you’re in Build Mode, find the object that is already placed in your home, or put another one from your inventory, and then select it.

Now, press Shift + ] to increase the size of the object or Shift + [ to decrease it. If you’re playing on a console, it’s LT+RT (Xbox) or L2+R2 (PlayStation) + left or right on the D-Pad. The left button makes the object smaller, and the right button makes it bigger.

Once you’re satisfied with the size of the object, exit Build Mode by clicking the icon again, and you’ll be back in Live Mode.

With the keyboard or gamepad shortcuts, you can easily change the size of objects in Build Mode. It’s a normal function of the base game, so no cheat codes, expansions, or mods are required. You’re free to resize items as much as you like.
