There is some great fun in exploring the different locations in the game, from the desert to a green and lush city that offers the freshest air, but sometimes we want to do it while living through a specific season. Wouldn’t it be great if it always summer? No? Well, probably not.

Sims 4 – how to change the season
To be able to change season whenever, you will need to have the Seasons expansion package installed. Without it, the method won’t work in the base game or other Game Packs.
To start off, players need to purchase the weather monitoring device of Dr. June, which costs 1,500 Simoleons. The device is included with the Seasons expansion package. You can find it in the top right corner of the screen by clicking on:
- Build Mode
- Objects by Function
- Activities and Skills
Then, type June in the search bar. You can also scroll through the list until you find the weather monitoring device of Dr. June. As you might have probably guessed, this device allows you to choose the type of weather you want, at any time. The weather types you can choose from include:
- Blizzard
- Clear Skies
- Cloud Skies
- Cold
- Heatwave
- Hot
- Rain
- Snow
- Thunderstorm
