Like a Dragon Ishin is here to take the Yakuza formula we all know and love and plunge us into historical Japan. Gone are the shiny lights of modern Tokyo and here are the bamboo hats of yesteryear. There’s still lots of things to see and items to collect in your Like a Dragon Ishin inventory, however.
From playing games and winning prizes to filling your pockets with food to recover from battles, the Like a Dragon Ishin inventory still plays a huge role in the game. Instead of filling your pockets with Yen and gacha game toys, you will be storing slightly more basic items in there, but the fundamentals are the same.
Below, you’ll find all the information you need on how item storage works in the Yakuza-inspired historical game. You’ll find out how much stuff you can cram in there, but you’ll also learn ways to make your inventory bigger too, so get to reading.
How the Like a Dragon Ishin inventory works
The inventory in Like a Dragon Ishin is made up of 20 slots. Weapons and armour have their own dedicated equipment slots, so they don’t take up inventory space. Food, water, health items, and crafting materials are stored in the inventory though.
You can expand these slots by gaining virtue, and then spending that virtue at shrines and temples to make your inventory larger. If you find yourself too overloaded, then visit a shrine to store some of your inventory items until you can accrue enough virtue to get more slots.
That’s everything you need to know about storing items in your bag in Sega’s historical RPG game. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks on the game, then read our other Like a Dragon Ishin guides like how to use the blacksmith and what cities you can visit.
