The first thing you need to do in this quest is to make your way to the tavern in New Delsta. When you speak to the tavern cook, he expresses his frustration over the lack of customers and suggests that he can attract more customers by adding meat from the Delsta Devil to the menu. He mentions something about a cave, so you will need to track down the Delsta Devil and bring back its meat to the cook.
Head east from New Delsta and follow the river south once you reach Western Clockbank Highroad. This will lead you to a Danger Level 34 dungeon, which is called the Sunken Maw. Once inside, you can collect a few treasure chests that contain various items. Make sure to grab the Shield of Serenity and Quartz Rod from the golden chests. After looting the three chests on the first level, climb the ladder, grab the chest on your right, and head to the shack.
Inside the shack, you’ll find an elderly fishing enthusiast. Speak to him to learn about special bait, and then purchase or steal it from him. Without this bait, you cannot encounter the Delsta Devil. Once you have the bait, head down the ladder. There is a dark spot here where you can use the bait to summon the Delsta Devil.
The Delsta Devil is quite easy to beat. It is weak to polearms, daggers, bows, and lightning. Once you defeat the Delsta Devil, you’ll obtain the Delsta Devil Meat. Return to the tavern cook to claim your rewards of 5,000 Leaves, Master Rod and Chef’s Ladle.
