How to swap engines in Gran Turismo 7 shop

Gran Turismo 7 engine swap guide

Sometimes we all want more power under the hood, right? We all wish we could modify our honest economical city cars with a more powerful engine, perhaps one from a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Well, in real life that’s more complicated, but in Gran Turismo 7 engine swap is indeed a thing, we’ll explain.

Basically, the possibility to swap engines was confirmed by Polyphony Digital pretty early on, as they showed a trailer with a Volkswagen running with a Porsche engine. But then, after the release, there was no more information so gamers were, understandably, confused.

Luckily, there is a way to swap engines in Gran Turismo 7, but it’s not as straightforward as one might think. Here’s how to do a Gran Turismo 7 engine swap and what engines you can use.

How to swap engines in Gran Turismo 7

Since buying engines from the shop is not a possibility, the only way to get engines to swap is through roulette tickets. These can be obtained by doing daily tasks in your routine and they allow you to win random prizes. If you get lucky and win an engine, you need to redeem it in the gifts section of the garage.
