Fire Emblem Engage is a tactical RPG game where you can defeat opponents in exciting turn-based battles. As you progress through the game, you will become stronger and defeat powerful enemies. In this guide, we will try to explain what the Fire Emblem Engage maddening fixed growths are all about.

As you might know, there are three difficulty levels in Fire Emblem Engage. These are Normal, Hard, and Maddening. If you are looking for a true challenge, then the Maddening mode is definitely the one for you.

This mode comes with the Fire Emblem Engage maddening fixed growths feature. Let’s find out what this means in the game!

How do maddening fixed growths work in Fire Emblem Engage?

In the maddening mode, you will be able to fight more enemies in each chapter battle. There are fewer opportunities to save the game, as well as less Rewinding with the Time Crystal. However, to combat these difficulties, you will be able to make use of the maddening fixed growths.

To unlock this mode, you will first need to clear Fire Emblem Engage at least once. Then, you will unlock two additional options with the New Game Plus which are Random or Fixed Stat Boosts. Both Normal and Hard modes, use the random leveling feature, which makes the boosts inconsistent. This means that the stat increases are randomized and depend on RNG and luck.

However, in the maddening mode, you can use fixed growths to set the number of Growth points in specific stats. There is no randomness involved in the leveling process. So, your units will be able to hit their average stats much quicker.
