When you reach the Archbishop’s Altar in St. Frangelico Cathedral Library, you will have to fight a giant boss called the Fallen Archbishop Andreus. How to beat the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss in Lies of P?
Prep-Work
- You need to bring 5 Thermite and farm Star Fragment, as you will need a spector companion on your side during this fight. For the Thermite, travel to Moonlight Yown Stargazer and find some there.
- Get Flamberge as your Legion Arm.
First Phase
- At first, the boss will be focused on you instead of the spector.
- Throw some Thermites at him while he is coming towards you.
- Block the tongue attacks. Performing Perfect Block or Perfect Parry will be useful.
- Keep blocking and hitting until his attention goes towards the spector.
- Cover him in flames with the help of Flamberg.
- Keep attacking him on the face, and whenever his attention is on the other spector, use your flamethrower arm.
Phase 2
- During this phase, another face of the boss will come out of it and he will try to charge at you with his new Phase 2 face.
- But the Phase 1 face is still attached to him and you can still choose to fight that. So, run to its backside and continue your fight with the phase 1 face.
- The boss will recognize this and start performing his phase 1 attacks. Thus, you can easily block those attacks.
- Remember not to get cornered by the boss.
- When he charges his blue beam, get away from him as far as possible.
- Keep guarding and counter attacking, burn him as well.
- If he charges at you, block him.
- Stagger him if you can, and finish him with your fatal attack.
This is the easiest way to defeat this boss. You might not be able to take him on your first try, but as long as you remember that you can keep hitting his phase 1 face even during phase 2, you are good.
