The Confessor in Blasphemous 2 Explained

You can find the Confessor at the Chapel of the City of the Blessed Name. Their quest mainly revolves around removing the Penitent One’s accumulated Guilt for Tears of Atonement.

Additionally, if you have died many times, due to Guilt accumulation, a part of the Fervour gauge will become not usable. Then, you can go ahead and confess your sins to him, to break the seal in exchange for tears of atonement. The amount required will increase as you use the Confessor, from 500 to 1000 to even more.

This is also basically the Confessor’s quest line. So, if you regularly visit the chapel and use their powers to ease your burden, you will notice that they are actually a tall human wearing a long red veil. And the more you use their service, flowers will start appearing on their robe.

Once these flowers bloom, you will get an Imperfect Sphere of Guilt and a Concentrated Sphere of Guit Rosary beads. The moment you collect them, the Confessor becomes corrupted and starts looking a little different.
