How to unlock the claw blade in Wild Hearts and use it
The Claw Blade is a lightweight, melee weapon that is excellent for close combat and helps you dodge attacks. It is also highly mobile in the air. Attack 1 delivers lightning-fast strikes, while Attack 2 helps you reposition. The Special Attack pierces a Kemono with the weapon’s “claw,” effectively turning it into a grappling hook.
To unlock the Claw Blade in Wild Hearts, complete the first chapter of the game’s main storyline. This won’t take long, so you can quickly unlock the weapon and start training with it.
The Claw Blade is perfect for fighting Kemono at close range. Whenever you don’t need to be at a distance, it is an excellent weapon to wield. Use Attack 1 for a fast-paced melee attack when you’re in striking range. If you need to dodge an incoming attack, use Attack 2 to reposition yourself and avoid taking damage.
Every successful hit with the Claw Blade builds up its Claw Gauge. Once you have done so, you can use the Claw Blade’s Special Attack to pierce a Kemono with the claw, turning it into a grappling hook. This allows you to land multiple aerial attacks.
We hope our Wild Hearts Claw Blade Guide has helped you understand how the weapon works, the best way to wield it, and when to use it in the game. Check out more of our Wild Hearts coverage such as how to get pointed scale and where to find lightstone.
