Warzone 2 crossplay and cross-platform explained

There’s never a moment of rest. We were quietly awaiting the new title in the Call of Duty series and there you go, we get flooded with an incredible amount of news about the new title in the mainline series and also Warzone 2. Since it takes time to get a group of friends together to play this, let’s take a look to see if Warzone 2 Crossplay will also be a feature.

If you need a little bit of a refresh course on what that actually means, well, don’t worry because that is a completely good thing. Crossplay allows you to play on a console against (or with) players that are using a PC, and viceversa. So that basically makes things pretty much easier if you want to get a group of friends together.

Now that we’re clear on what it means, let’s take a look at whether Warzone 2 crossplay will be implemented from the get-go.

Will Warzone 2 have crossplay and cross-platform?

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, we can definitely expect crossplay to be a feature from day one. This is speculation at this point, but it is also easy to think it will be a feature since Call of Duty Warzone was published with crossplay from its original release in March 2020.

But we will be sure to update the guide should any other information come our way, so take all of this with a pinch of salt. We would definitely be very surprised if the game would be released without crossplay frankly!

While we wait for more news and actual confirmation, if you’re still having fun playing Call of Duty Warzone, you might want to check our other Call of Duty guides and, hey, you might even discover something you were not even aware of!
