The Sims 4 Streamer career guide explained
To start this career, you can go through the job section on your Sim’s phone and choose the ‘Video Game Streamer’ option. Give your Sim the Geek trait and make them like video games to increase their performance. The primary skill your Sim has to train is the Entrepreneur skill which they can do just by streaming video games from their computer.
Your Sim can also choose to either do night or day shifts. Most players prefer the latter, however, keep in mind that the night shifts are shorter. And as your Sim is going to mainly stream video games, they also need to work on their Video Gaming skill as well.
You can also add a Lot trait called Fast Internet to increase the speed of live streaming. There are a total of 3 Levels your Sim has to go through to reach the top. You might definitely want to speed things up, to get as much money as possible.
The three levels are the following:
- Level 1 Casual Gamer: $20/hour, Days off on Sunday & Saturday, promotion requirements are to reach Level 2 Entrepreneur Skill and Level 2 Video Game Skill.
- Level 2 Speedrunner: $43/hour, Days off on Sunday & Saturday, promotion requirements are to reach Level 4 Entrepreneur Skill and Level 4 Video Game Skill, and promotion rewards are unlocking the ability to stream unreleased games and a $400 Bonus.
- Level 3 Pro-Gamer: $61/hour, days off on Sunday & Saturday, promotion reward is $750.
Your Sim can even gain some more extra cash by reading Sim chat. This way you will get a small financial boost.
Daily Tasks
Your daily tasks mainly revolve around, updating your Sim’s online bio with a business headshot, holding a live stream, streaming an unreleased game, making a business plan, and cross-promoting at venues. These are all of the major daily tasks you will have to do throughout this career. You can also make your Sim work hard to better their performance.
