How to unlock the Invader class

In order to unlock the Invader class, you must obtain the Wooden Shiv by defeating Bane, a formidable opponent located in an alternate version of the Corrupted Harbor. Here is the step-by-step guide on how to do that:

Step 1: Obtaining the Dreamcatcher

The first step in unlocking the Invader class is to obtain the Dreamcatcher. This powerful weapon can be found in Losomn: Morrow Parish Sanatorium, during the Nightweaver quest. As you progress through the quest, you will come across three stone-carved dolls scattered in the asylum. These dolls are essential for unlocking the Dreamcatcher. 

Once you have collected all three dolls, head to the basement of the asylum and locate an NPC who is locked up. Use the Prison Cell Key, which can be found somewhere in the building, to release her. In return, she will give you the Nightweaver statue. Be aware that the locations of the dolls and the key may vary in each playthrough, so keep an eye out for them.

Step 2: Defeating Magister Dullain

After obtaining the Dreamcatcher, continue your journey through the game until you reach the Shattered Gallery dungeon. Here, you will face Magister Dullain, a formidable opponent. Defeat him to obtain the Soulkey Tribute, a valuable item that will play a crucial role in unlocking the Invader class. Keep in mind that depending on your game version, you may encounter a character called The Red Prince instead of Magister Dullain. Regardless, the end result remains the same – obtaining the Soulkey Tribute.

Step 3: Unlocking the Dreamworld

With the Soulkey Tribute in your possession, return to the Morrow Parish Sanatorium basement. Use the Soulkey Tribute to access the Tormented Asylum, a realm beyond the physical world. Once inside, locate the cobweb inside the first cell on the left. Use the Nightweaver statue on the cobweb to unlock the Dreamworld. This will transport you to an alternate version of the Morrow Parish Sanatorium, where the Dreamcatcher’s true power lies.

Step 4: Journey to the Corrupted Harbor

Now that you have unlocked the Dreamworld, it’s time to make your way to the Corrupted Harbor on Root Earth. Progress through the campaign until you reach this area, which will be the last zone you unlock. The Corrupted Harbor is a treacherous and dangerous place, so be prepared for fierce battles and challenging encounters.

Step 5: Discovering the Walker’s Dream

Once you have reached the Corrupted Harbor, head towards the back of the cargo docks. Navigate through a side passage in the area that locks you in against waves of enemies. This passage will lead you to a wide-open space with a peculiar pod-like creature. Strike the pod to obtain the Escalation Protocol, one of the most powerful rings in Remnant 2. However, the main objective here is to use the Dreamcatcher on the pod. This action will grant you the Walker’s Dream consumable item, a key component in unlocking the Invader class.

Step 6: Enter the Dreamworld

With the Walker’s Dream in your possession, it’s time to enter the Dreamworld. Use the consumable item to teleport to an alternate version of the Corrupted Harbor. In this ethereal realm, you will encounter a fearsome boss known as Bane. Prepare yourself for a challenging battle, as Bane is a formidable opponent with powerful attacks. Defeat Bane to obtain the Wooden Shiv, a crucial item needed to unlock the Invader class.

Step 7: Unlocking the Invader Class

With the Wooden Shiv in hand, return to Ward 13 and seek out Wallace. He is the key to unlocking the Invader class. Present him with the Wooden Shiv, along with 10 Lumenite Crystals and 1000 Scrap. Wallace will use these resources to craft the Serrated Root Blade, which serves as the class engram for the Invader. Congratulations! You have now successfully unlocked the Invader class.
