The game is divided in several little morsels of gameplay, some are very short, like the initial one, others are definitely a little bit longer.

How many chapters are in Planet of Lana?
Planet of Lana has thirteen chapters, of different lengths, where the story slowly unfolds. Here is the complete list of chapters you will find:

- Alone
- A new friend
- Secrets in the dark
- The highlands
- The swamp
- The past
- The ocean
- The turning tide
- The desert
- The oasis
- End of the road
- Tailo village
We will meet Mui in “A New Friend”, while we are controlling only Lana in the first two chapters, along with a short sequence later on in The Desert.
How long is Planet of Lana?
Overall, the game should take you about 5-6 hours to complete, depending on how much time you will spend on certain puzzles, such as the musical notes puzzle and the tubes puzzle. Obviously, there are also collectibles, in the form of ten different shrines that you can find.
Collecting these ten pieces, in the shrines, will grant you a map which will give you more information about the world of Nova and the story. But they are indeed quite difficult to find, so it’s hard to tell how much time you will need, but we would say at least another two hours.
