If you’re looking to play NHL 23 early, you’ll have to preorder the X-Factor edition of the game. Along with various bonus goodies that include HUT players and various XP bonuses, you’ll also get 3-Days early access to the hockey game.

The game will be the second one in the series to make use of the new and improved Frostbite engine, which already powered NHL 22. We can definitely expect (or hope, perhaps) that this new version can also feature improved graphics and performance since it targets also released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fans of the previous game definitely were not happy with the performance all around.
