How to help Hinkel in Honkai Star Rail

You’ll need to give Hinkel a set of directions, and you’ll be given three options to choose from. The correct answer is Up, Right, Down.

During the tutorial quest called Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow, you will be introduced to the Warp function. This feature allows you to teleport to different locations.

Once you’ve completed the tutorial, Arlan will reward you with three Light Cones and ask you to level them up. This is where things get interesting. You’ll need to help two researchers in the Master Control Zone, starting with Hinkel, who is located at the front of the zone.

Hinkel will provide you with some very specific information about the machinery in front of you. She’ll tell you about four positions that you need to memorize in order to correctly solve the puzzle. These are as mentioned, Up, Right Down. That is to say, the third option on your screen.
