Fire Emblem Engage is the newest installment in the Fire Emblem series where you battle against powerful enemies. If you want to know what would be the best time to promote in Fire Emblem Engage, you’re in the right place!
Published by Nintendo for the Switch on the 20th of January, the game offers a lot of flexibility for the characters you want to use. There are some familiar faces in the game that you will recognize if you’ve played the previous installment, Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Promoting your characters is an essential part of the game. So, in this guide, we’ll show you when to promote in Fire Emblem Engage!
Fire Emblem Engage When To Promote – The Best Time
As you progress through the game, the difficulty of the battles will only get higher. To make your characters stronger in Fire Emblem Engage, you will need to promote them to advanced classes. This will unlock additional abilities for them, and you will be able to defeat more powerful enemies.
To promote a character, you will need a Master Seal. The unit needs to be at least a level 10 in their Basic Class to be promoted. You will also need to ensure that they meet all weapon proficiency requirements of their next Class. This is possible by increasing Bond Levels with the Emblem Rings. These are the minimum requirements to promote a character, but is it really enough?.
When the unit reaches level 20 with their present class, then it is the best time to promote them. You can have them progress to an Advanced Class, or switch them to another Basic Class. This is because they are at the max level of stat upgrades at level 20. If you don’t upgrade them to level 20, you will be missing out on future stat boosts.
