You can find Violet Jelly Caps in the Fae Realm. This is an area that you can access through the Mysterious Portal present in the Spooky Forest. Finding this portal is an objective during the Taking Flight quest involving the Wisp Mother.

You will need to use your fairy wings as well. Once you find the portal, tell the Wisp Mother about it and come back the next day. The Violet Jelly Caps visually look like a growing purple mushroom. They are also very long, so you won’t miss them. You can also find several Violet Jelly Caps in the Elven Village.

You will need to collect 10 of them during the Boletal’s Sour but Sweet quest. These mushrooms are known to be very magical. If consumed, the Violet Caps will cause vivid dreams and provide healing to the user. It really takes the definition of magic mushrooms to a whole new level.
