Best scav map in Escape From Tarkov - running through Reserve.

Escape From Tarkov best scav map – loot guide

Are you trying to decide on the best map to use your scav in Escape From Tarkov? This loot guide will go through your best options. Overall, scav raids are a great way to make money without having to worry about losing your PMC’s hard-earned gear. Additionally, since other scavs won’t attack you, you’re able to loot more recklessly. Just be careful of potential PMCs since they will take you down. Let’s go through how to make money fast as a scav.

Best scav map in Escape From Tarkov

Overall, the best scav map in Escape From Tarkov is Reserve. It has a lot of loot, most PMCs avoid it since it has very hard PMC extracts, and the scav extracts are easy to reach and safe. Also, most locations in the map are risky to loot if you’re a PMC, so they’ll often be unlooted when joining as a scav.

Alternatively, feel free to try any map you are familiar with or any map you want to learn. For loot, Customs is also a great option since most people focus on tasks and leave stuff unlooted. Otherwise, you can also try checking the PCs on Interchange or going to the Rogue compound on Lighthouse. Nevertheless, none of these options compares with Reserve, which has the best loot.

Scav loot guide in Reserve

In terms of a Reserve loot guide in EFT, I recommend heading to the central square with the helicopter and checking the three surrounding buildings. These are the White and Black Pawn and the Black Bishop. They are full of drawers, duffle bags, weapon boxes, and loose loot. Additionally, next to the helicopter, you’ll find various weapon boxes, supply crates, and more.

If you’re not full or these are looted, the Knight buildings next to the train station are also great loot options. Otherwise, if you want to risk it for even better loot, I recommend heading underground. Find the central underground area with the offices and loot there. Often, there will be dead scavs, players, and raiders there with some leftover loot. However, since it’s very dangerous to go there, I recommend going during the last 15 minutes of the raid. If you go sooner, there’s a high chance to find other players and that won’t end well.

To summarize, the best scav map in Escape From Tarkov is Reserve since it’s a low-risk, high-reward map. The PMC extracts are hard, and most players go underground, so you’ll rarely find others. Additionally, it’s full of loose loot, and scav extracts are extremely easy to learn. On Reserve, I manage to extract 9/10 raids with a full inventory; selling everything on the Flea Market usually yields around 200,000 roubles. If you get lucky with loot, you can make way more! Plus, you’ll find a lot of quest items there. Before leaving, if you’re having gameplay issues, here’s how to fix error code 520 in Escape From Tarkov.
