EA is going to release next year a mobile spin-off of EA Sports FC called EA Sports FC Tactical, which will be available on IOS and Android. And in a recent press release, they stated that this spin-off will have “interactive simulation with strategic, turn-based gameplay and access to more than 5,000 authentic players across more than 10 top leagues, including the Premier League, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A.”

This is an entirely new genre that EA is getting into with this franchise, especially considering how much different the gameplay of FC Tactical will be when compared to EA Sports FC. They further mentioned, “EA SPORTS FC Tactical embraces strategic gameplay to create an all-new football experience that immerses players in the World’s Game like never before.”

EA is trying to accomplish something new with this mobile spin-off, and it may be truly distinct from their previous titles. EA stated, “EA SPORTS FC™ Tactical will include a wide range of playable modes, from online friendly matches to intense online competitions, including Rank matches, Leagues, and Guilds. Train players to master high-skill moves, unlock perfect traits for deeper progression, and customize your team with various items like stadium designs, kits, and balls.”

EA also wants new fans who are more into turn-based strategy games to try EA Sports FC Tactical, as they stated, “We’re excited to welcome fans of turn-based strategy games to join the club as part of the EA SPORTS FC player community, and look forward to sharing more on EA SPORTS FC Tactical soon.”

EA Sports FC Tactical will be available in early 2024, but you can pre-register right now on the IOS App Store and Google Play Store.

EA Sports FC 24 was released in September and is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
