How to find and use Night Shard in Disney Dreamlight Valley

When you begin playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will notice sparkling spots on the ground. Eventually, you will learn that you can dig them with one of the Royal Tools – the Shovel. Digging them will grant you more resources, and one of them is the Night Shard. 

Thus, to find these items, you will need to use the Shovel and dig it up. There is a random drop occurrence for these shards. The Night Shard is dark gray in color with a blue hue, and is the counterpart of the Dream Shard, which is white. 

Night Shards have two basic uses in the game. One of them is completing tasks that Disney characters give you, and the other is to craft an item. The first use will be shown to you by Merlin, who will ask you to fetch some so you can learn about these shards. 

As for the second use, you can craft the Purified Night Shard with 5 Night Shards and a Dream Shard. This is a valuable item that you can keep to gift to your characters to increase your friendship level with them.
