There are a lot of tough battles awaiting you in the latest action RPG by Blizzard and in this guide we are looking at one of the toughest yet. So, let us take you through how to find and beat Diablo Immortal Ancient Nightmare.
This boss, along with Lord Martanos, is one of the coolest and most lucrative World Boss battles in the game. However, many players have yet to experience this epic encounter due to its difficulty in finding and battling both bosses.
We’re here to help you with that. Let’s find out how to beat Diablo Immortal Ancient Nightmare!
How to find and beat Ancient Nightmare in Diablo Immortal
To find Ancient Nightmare, you must head to the Misty Valley area of Mount Zavain on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10 pm. Note that this is according to the local server time. Once in the area, look for a prompt indicating that the boss has been summoned and that you are able to auto-navigate to it.
To defeat the Ancient Nightmare, you must destroy its shield before attacking it. This can be difficult, but you can use Altars along its path to make it easier. If you activate an Altar when the Ancient Nightmare is nearby, it will stun the monster and lower its shield, giving you a chance to attack it.
It’s important to remember that you can only use each Altar for free once. After that, you need to get the Zakarum Sigil from Lord Martanos to use it again. When you activate an Altar, make sure Ancient Nightmare is nearby, or it won’t work. If you don’t have Sigils or Altars, you can still defeat Ancient Nightmare, but it will be harder and take longer.
You can attack Ancient Nightmare the same way you attack other creatures. If you defeat Ancient Nightmare, you’ll get some rewards, but the most important thing is that it will always drop Enchanted Dust. Depending on the difficulty level and where you are in the game, you might also get some other rare items.
