Apex Legends release date – when did the game come out?

Apex Legends was released by Respawn Entertainment on 4th February, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Each season brought new content to the game, such as new Legends, maps, and weapons. The game’s developers were able to keep the game fresh and exciting for players, which undoubtedly contributed to the game’s continued success. By the time the Nintendo Switch version was released on March 9, 2021, there were already 20 characters to choose from and four main battle royale maps.

Although the Switch version couldn’t offer players the same level of graphics or polish compared to the other console or PC versions, it was still a welcome addition to the game. Players were able to take the game on the go and enjoy it in a new way.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions released on March 29, 2022, three years after the initial release. However, the most recent version is Apex Legends Mobile. This was released on May 17, 2022. It’s likely that Respawn noticed the success of battle royale games on a mobile platform and decided to chip in. This new version of the game makes it even more accessible to players, allowing them to enjoy the game on their mobile devices.
