How to get the Double Barrel Shotgun in Alan Wake 2

To get the Double Barrel shotgun in Alan Wake 2, head outside of the Oceanview Hotel in the Initiation – Room 665 chapter and use the Angel Lamp once to access the room and another once you’re inside to reveal the shotgun.

While this is available from the Return 2 – The Heart chapter, don’t worry if you missed it. You can come back at any point and pick it up. The only case where it’s too late to pick it up is at the end of Initiation 8: Zane’s Film.

For the exact location, check the map image above. While it will normally be a fenced-off area with seemingly nothing inside, once you use the Angel Lamp, the room will be a fully repaired bar and you’ll be able to access it from the door on the left. Once you’re inside the bar, use the Angel Lamp again. This will cause the weapon to show up right in the middle of the room.
