Fishing mini-games have now become a common feature in RPGs. They are a pretty peaceful break from the constant grinding sessions (although fishing can also be constituted as grinding), and provide players with a generally stress-free gaming experience. Tower of Fantasy also has a pretty complicated fishing mini-game. If you don’t know anything about it, here’s the Tower of Fantasy fishing guide and tips.
Fishing in this game has already confused quite a lot of people due to certain prerequisites players need to fulfill before they can actually start fishing. Understanding how this mechanic works will be beneficial for you in the long run.
So, keep reading and enjoy this Tower of Fantasy Fishing guide and tips. Hopefully, with the help of this guide, you will be able to catch a lot of fish.
Here’s how fishing works in Tower of Fantasy
Naturally, the first thing you need, as you might have guessed, is a fishing rod. To get this tool, you need to buy it from the fishing store. How would we go about doing that?
Well, open up the game menu, go to the casual node, and click on the fishing menu. Select the store button and buy the No Luck Rod for 1000 Gold and buy some bait.
You are now ready to fish. Travel to a body of water. Look at your mini-map and see if there is a fish icon. Found it? Good. Now, there should be a blue circle in the water, this is the area where you can fish. Open up the fishing menu, again. Select the fishing rod and place the bait and off you go!
Hopefully, a fish will get lured and then get hooked. A blue bar will pop on the side, and your job is to keep the small white mark within the orange bar inside of this blue bar. Do this until the fish gets tired and accepts its defeat. Press the fishing rod button again and catch it.
Now it’s up to you, how many fishes will you catch? Will you want to create a luxury aquarium to decorate your beautiful house? Do you want to sell them to a fish market with changing prices? It’s up to you.
