The original Titan Quest was released all the way back in 2006, but out of nowhere, we now have a Titan Quest 2 release date and announcement. That means the Diablo-like loot game based on Greek mythology is returning soon, and we can’t wait.
It’s been over 15 years since we last played new content in the Titan Quest universe, but now it’s coming back with the help of THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games. There’s a new story involving the Greek god Nemesis, and we’ve even seen a giant crab monster – wild.

Titan Quest 2 release date
Titan Quest 2 was announced at the THQ Nordic showcase on August 11, 2023. However, no official release date was shown when the trailer for the game was unexpectedly shown. However, The Game Awards in December is always a good time for further developments in the industry, so we theorize that we will learn more at The Game Awards and potentially see a spring 2024 release date.

Titan Quest 2 story details
In Titan Quest 2, Nemesis, the Greek Goddess of Retribution, is out of control. She is corrupting the Threads of Fate and condemning all those who oppose her to eternal punishment. You must take up weapons and fight alongside the other gods, and change fate itself in order to stop Nemesis, free those she’s punished, and weave your own epic tale.
In the announcement trailer, we see Spartan warriors entering what appears to be Athens. We know this because of the acropolis that is in view as they ride into the city. This would mean the game is set during the Peloponnesian War of 431-404 BC, which saw Sparta conquer Athens.
