How to solve the magnetic lock puzzle in Chapter 1 of Stasis Bone Totem

As Mac, you’ll come across a locked gate with a magnetic lock in chapter 1 of Stasis Bone Totem as you explore the oil rig. However, you need to open this gate to progress. When you first encounter the gate, you’ll have a short codec chat with Charlie where she says you need something to pry it open but that you lost your crowbar.

Switch to Charlie, and jump across the bridge. Explore the oil rig further until you reach a porthole that can’t be opened. Examine the outer edges of the porthole and you’ll see some twisted-up metal. You can pry a twisted rod off the porthole, but it still won’t open right now.

Send the twisted rod to Mac via the shared inventory system. Use Mac’s strength ability to straighten out the metal bar. Then use the straightened rod to pry open the magnetic lock on the gate.
