Look, we know that you love the squid kids, and so do we. And we know you’re happy that they’re back for a third game in the series because we are too. But, as with any new game, it comes with a host of new features and game modes, like Splatoon 3 Tableturf Battle – exciting.

So, once you’re done with the Return of the Mammalians campaign and you’re tired of getting splatted by your opponents who promptly shout booyah on your inky demise, then you can head over to the new Splatoon 3 Tableturf Battle mode to have more fun. But what exactly is it?

Splatoon 3 Tableturf Battle

To play Tableturf Battle, head to the Tableturf Battle dojo in Splatsville. You can locate this by looking for a big banner and table set out in one of the city’s side alleys. Tableturf Battle in Splatoon 3 is a new card game mode. Each card in your deck allows you to ink a different shape on a Tetris-like board. Using cards allows you to gather points towards a special attack, just like in Splatoon 3’s other modes. There are over 150 cards to collect in-game.

When you first play Splatoon 3, you will be given a starter deck of cards that allows you to learn the basics. You can gather more cards as you play and craft your deck with the exact cards you want to use to ensure victory. TableTurf Battle is a competitive mode with ranks.
