Like a Dragon Ishin equipment explained

The Yakuza series is back with a spin-off set in historical Japan and its glorious. You can use swords and guns to take on your opponents this time too, instead of just fists. But with all of these new weapons comes the need to store them somewhere, which is where the Like a Dragon Ishin equipment comes in.

The Like a Dragon Ishin equipment is different from the equipment found in other Yakuza-style games because there are a lot more aspects to the game’s combat than we see elsewhere. By entering the Pause Menu, you just need to enter the “Equipment” screen. In there, you will find all of the weapons you have picked up. They are handily sorted in different categories: sword, special, gun and the selected ammo. Below the weapons, there is the gear you currently have equipped, divided in: headband, breastplate and gauntlet. Be sure to always keep an eye out on the latest weapons you have picked up.

Keeping a tidy inventory is key to being able to have your character always up to snuff and having less issues while fighting hordes of enemies and bosses. Also, do not forget that both weapons and gear can be further upgraded, by visiting the blacksmith and carrying enough money and seals to improve your equipment.
