When it comes to traveling from Axiom to Umbral, there are two simple ways to do it: you can perform an Umbral Rift with your lamp, or you can just die in Axiom, as your soul will be transported to Umbral, and you will be able to explore that realm. Dying will not always be a suitable option, so try to use the Umbral Rift as much as possible.

How to travel back to Axiom from Umbral?

Now, this will be a way trickier journey. There are again mainly two ways of doing this: you can either try resurrecting at a Vestige or use an Emergence Effigy.

You will find Ancient Vestiges while progressing through the game, and resting at a Vestige will restore most of your stuff and resurrect you back to the land of the living. You can create a custom resting spot through Vestige Seedlings, but you will have a place down on Umbral Flower Beds.
