House Flipper 2 stairs – how to remove them

Are you trying to remove stairs in House Flipper 2 but can’t? Here’s everything you need to know about this feature. When redecorating houses, you might decide to move the location of the stairs. This includes both inside and outside stairs. This can be helpful if you want to replace them or move them somewhere else to fit better the new door location you’ve chosen. However, this can get fairly tricky. Let’s see what you can do.

Can you move stairs in House Flipper 2?

Unfortunately, you cannot move or remove stairs in House Flipper 2. This includes both inside and outside stairs. Thus, I recommend not moving the door location. If you place the Flipper tool on the stairs, you will get an ‘X’ symbol, which means there’s nothing you can do to move or sell them.

However, if you have a specific design in mind, there are some alternatives you can try.

Other solutions you can try

While you can’t move stairs, you can change their style and design. Once you unlock the right Flipper Tool perk, you’ll be able to press ‘R’ while looking at the stairs with the Flipper Tool in your hand, and a new menu will pop up. From there, select the ‘Change Design’ option, and you’ll be able to customize the stairs.

This way, they’ll find the house design you’ve chosen better. Also, if you want to redecorate outside stairs, while you can’t move them, you can try something else. Specifically, you can build on top of the outside stairs and then build another staircase somewhere else.

If you’re planning to flip a house, this won’t help you increase the price much, so I don’t recommend going into all this trouble. However, if you just want to change house and keep it for yourself, that’s a great way to change its entrance a bit.

To summarize, while you can’t move stairs in House Flipper 2, you can redecorate them with the Flipper Tool. Alternatively, if your issue is about outside stairs, you can build over them and cover them up. Then, build another set of outside stairs somewhere else and use that! Just keep in mind that this is only recommended if you want to move there and use the new place as your home office.
