In Honkai: Star Rail, players have access to a different type of equipment compared to Genshin Impact. Instead of artifacts, the newer game offers players relics.
Let’s find out all you need to know to become a hunter for those relics in Honkai Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail – how to get relics
Relics are the key to unlocking the true potential of your characters in Honkai: Star Rail. Basically, you get Cavern Relics as rewards for fighting through a Cavern of Corrosion. These special materials can be equipped to boost your characters’ stats and come in different rarities, ranging from 2 to 5 stars. Each relic belongs to a specific set that unlocks special effects when you equip two or four pieces on a character. That means you can create unique and powerful combinations that fit your playstyle and preferences.
Cavern Relics and Planar Ornaments are the two types of relics in the game. Cavern Relics are sets of four clothing items: Head, Hands, Body, and Feet. On the other hand, Planar Ornaments are special sets of two relics, including Planar Sphere and Link Rope. Each of these relics has a main stat and 2/4 sub-stats, which are important in making your characters stronger.
So, how do you get these powerful relics? Each Cavern has different relics at different rarities, and you need to unlock higher levels for each Cavern to get 4-Star and 5-Star relics. During the main story on Jarilo-VI, you will unlock this location.
On the other hand, you can get Planar Ornaments from the Simulated Universe accessed in Herta’s Office on the Herta Space Station, appearing in World 3 and beyond. With many options available, you can try out different combinations and to make your characters the best versions of themselves.
