GTA 6 has finally seen the light of day in the form of a trailer, and we are beyond excited to bring you all the GTA 6 information that we know so far so that you can get up to date with all the latest news about the game before it launches.

GTA 5 came out over 10 years ago and we’ve been eagerly awaiting a sequel ever since we rolled credits on it. There are a lot of changes coming to GTA 6, so strap in as we go over all of the GTA 6 information that we know.

GTA 6 release date

GTA 6 will be released in 2025. This is according to the trailer for the game, which states that 2025 is when we’ll all get to play the game. Based on previous releases, it’s likely that it will be released in the fall, which is just in time for the holiday season. Unfortunately, it also means it’s just that much further away – sigh.

GTA 6 consoles, PC, and platforms

GTA 6 will be coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5. At the current time, though, Rockstar has not mentioned a PC release, according to IGN. When previous GTA games were released, they were always released first on consoles and then a PC port came out around a year later. So it might be the same case for GTA 6.

There has been no mention of last-gen consoles, so given how long the new consoles have been out, it’s safe to say GTA 6 is not coming to Xbox One or PS4.

GTA 6 story and setting details

GTA 6 will be set in Vice City – Rockstar’s version of Miami. The last we set foot there was in the 1980s setting of GTA Vice City. This time, however, it seems Rockstar has gone for a modern-day setting for Vice City.

GTA 6 revolves around a man and woman couple in Vice City. The trailer (below) depicts the pair robbing stores and living the high life, so it seems that they will be our criminal protagonists and the GTA 6 story will revolve around them and their exploits.
