It’s always fun seeing a franchise’s recurring joke evolve per entry and the newest version of Cid is peak evolution. He’s so nuanced, good-looking, and interesting that fans want to know all about who the Final Fantasy 16 Cid voice actor actually is.
To be fair, the game’s voice acting is so good that we don’t blame fans for wanting to know more about the brilliant actors behind it all. From what has been seen thus far, it’s clear that this JRPG is raising the bar for future entries.
So, here’s who the Final Fantasy 16 Cid voice actor is. Will we see his voice return in future games?
Who is the Final Fantasy 16 voice actor?
Both English and Japanese voices are great but it seems worldwide fans want to know who the former is more. In English, it is actor Ralph Ineson providing the voice of Cid and he does an absolutely marvelous job with the character.
Fans who find the name familiar will be happy to know Ineson has actually been starring in plenty of movies. He’s William in 2015’s The Witch, Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones, and Amycus Carrow in the Harry Potter films. He has also been in shows like The Legend of Vox Machina and Willow.
Despite starring in numerous Hollywood projects, Ineson has been in a good number of video games already. Ineson was also Lorath in Diablo 4 and Charles Vane in Assassin’s Creed 4 so he’s pretty legitimate. Let’s hope that he lends his voice to more video games in the future since he’s pretty good at acting.
The 16th installment in this franchise is also proving its worth, gaining plenty of buzz for its gameplay and story. Newer players are enjoying the real-time combat while veterans love the epic story that lives up to its predecessors.
We hope you keep enjoying Ralph Ineson as Cid in the game. For more JRPG fun here are our guides on Super Mario RPG and Chained Echoes.
